Madison County Library Fiber Art Shows

Posted on Monday, August 6th, 2012

For the month of August, 2012, I will be showing my work at all three of the Madison County Libraries: Marshall, Mars Hill, Hot Springs. Something old (labyrinths) and something new (a variety of prayer flags). If you can’t make it to the show, you can always check out my smaller items, like the prayer flags, at my etsy shop: etsy.com/shop/innerlandscaping. And have a great month of August.

Spring Holistic Wisdom Faire: White Horse in Black Mountain

Posted on Thursday, May 31st, 2012

I will be a part of the second annual Spring Holistic Wisdom Faire at White Horse in Black Mountain (105 Montreat) from 10-5 on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012. Come and explore a variety of wisdom modalities, including Tarot, crystals, herbs, and more, and be ready to win one of the many door prizes. I will be offering mini labyrinth meditations and/or dreamwork sessions (I’m donating one of my c/ds on dreamwork as a doorprize); I will also have some of my lap labyrinths available for sale. (If you do come for dreamwork, it would be helpful if you had the dream in question already printed out.) http://www.whitehorseblackmountain.com

There is a wonderful article on me and my quilted labyrinths in the June issue of The Quilt Life magazine. It was written by Meg Cox, a wonderful quilter in her own right; check her out at: http://www.megcox.com/summer_2010_news.htm. And she included comments from a friend and walking labyrinth maker, Chuck Hunner:   http://www.goldenspirit.com/labyrinthconstruction/labyrinth.html.
